  diaz case, filed on 10/21/2020 by zalkin law firm - two plaintiffs abused (here and hereinafter - allegedly) by two ministerial servants in 1970s.. iglesias case, filed on 10/19/2020 by eisenberg & baum, llp against various nyc and wt entities - abused by an "elder john doe" and "[travelling] overseer john" in 1970s and 1980s.. aldridge case, filed 10/06/2020 by zalkin law firm - abused by a congregation elder in 1970s.. older cases:.

  tarry case (no 1 and no 2), filed on 09/17/2019 and 07/23/2020 by parker waichman llp - abused by a publisher in 1984. very weak case.

  a newspaper article quotes a jw as saying "every (letter) i put in the mailbox, i feel, 'ah, this could reach somebody.

  '" the article also quotes her as saying "we are accomplishing even more now than we were door-to-door because this way everybody in the house gets a chance to pick up that letter and respond to it.

  it just feels good.

    Thankfully, in this country we're all allowed religious differences. I'm allowed to be an atheist for example, and others are allowed to follow the religion of their choice. There's plenty of countries in the world where you cannot! So, just like a FB post that you don't like... just scroll past. Same with the JW letter, if you don't like it, don't read it, and recycle the paper.... no big deal.

    interesting its last years Awake magazine. Years ago it was published twice a month. Not been published at all this year. JW.s--the fastest shrinking religion in the world.

  i grew up and still live in sw canada adjacent o the pacific northwest.

  this means i had little experience with harsh winters or tornados etc.

  just rainy winters and sunny summers.. now n the 90s when i was a teen i of course wanted independence like all teens.

  Why haven't they re-started the 'cart witnessing'?

  we are nearly 18 months into this pandemic and lot has been learned and our behaviour modified to make things safer for us, e.g.

  the wearing of face masks and social distancing.. many countries such as australia, new zealand, the uk and usa either have things under control or have vaccinated a large portion of the population.

  therefore, given the very passive nature of the 'cart witnessing', i can't see why this hasn't be re-started.
